2024 Single Rickhouse: We’ve been getting asked about this all year, will we be able to get any of these, Wild Turkey’s rarest release of the year, for our members. It turns out the answer is yes. Somewhere between 5 and 6 thousand bottles of these are being released this year total. This is the highest proof of any Rickhouse release so far, and this year the single rickhouse in question is Camp Nelson B (in 2022 it was Camp Nelson C, and in 2023 it was Camp Nelson F). No age statement, but on rick #6, right in the middle, and we know they fill the barrel at 115, and it was bottled at 120.2, so that indicates it's a little older (last year was reportedly 14-15 years old).

We’ve been offered bottles of the single rickhouse for the club on the condition we sell them at MSRP (which we always do anyway) and that it’s sold in a bundle, so for $450 you get 3 bottles. The other two are their new limited edition Single Barrel Bourbon and Single Barrel Rye offerings. Basically they select a handful of barrels and release them under the same label (so each bottle is truly a single barrel — they’re not vatted — but multiple single barrels are being released under the same label. Said another way, if two people buy the “Single Barrel Bourbon” they will each get a single barrel offering, but they might be getting different single barrels, and there’s no way to distinguish them other than by taste. That said, they have an insanely impressive track record on selecting special single barrels — Wild Turkey has been on quite a roll lately in that department, so these are no doubt fantastic, and especially at the MSRP of $70 and $80 respectively.

Delivery is likely early November (they told us late October, so maybe we’ll get lucky, but seeing as we’ll be in Oaxaca the last week of October, we’re going to say early November to be safe).
