This release was aged in a combination of five gallon and twenty five gallon former whiskey barrels.

From the Distiller: Rice is a centerpiece of Louisiana culture and cuisine and this native resource makes a fine whiskey. We invite you to raise a glass of Riz and join us in celebrating new milestones in creative Louisiana distilling. Our rice whiskey is handcrafted from 100% Louisiana rice mash in our New Orleans distillery. Riz was one of the first spirits we created, with the first release in 2013. Since then we’ve had multiple barrel aged releases. We are barrel aging more Riz and as of late 2020, our current release is three years old.

Note: While this release features white rice, note that Atelier Vie also created an experimental single barrel of brown rice whiskey, which was released exclusively to members of Drammers Club.
