We are huge fans of Lost Lantern here at DRINQY. They have proven time and again to be a ground-breaking US independent bottler that has its finger on the pulse of where great whiskey is bubbling up here in the United States. A Blend of Straight Ryes from Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, & Wisconsin

Great rye whiskies come from all across the United States, and some of the very finest come from the Midwest. This special release proves it. It brings together straight rye whiskies from across the Midwest, from Indiana to Iowa, and showcases the depth and breadth of flavor that rye whiskey can have.

This is a blend of straight ryes, ranging from four to nine years old, from five of the finest distilleries in the Midwest. It has bright rye spice and fresh-cut grass on the nose. The palate is spicy, with rich oak and hints of dark chocolate and warm bread.

This is a counterpart to Far-Flung Bourbon, and our first blend of straight rye whiskey.

  • Tom’s Foolery: 74% Winter Rye, 26% Rye Malt

  • Wollersheim: 66% Rye, 22% corn, 12% malted Barley
