As the name implies, this product has been around a long time. Initially, Lehmynn (“Lemon”) Hart was named an official purveyor of rum to the British Royal Navy, and so he established the Lemon Hart Rum Company in London England in 1804. For centuries it has been a celebrated British-style black rum.
